Application
The cables are designed for aerial power transmission lines with various voltage levels , and widely used as bare overhead conductor for primary and secondary distribution.The alloys have higher strength,and they are particularly favorable when ice and win loading are load.
AAAC is used as bare overhead conductor for primary and secondary distribution. Designed utilizing a high-strength aluminum alloy to achieve a high strength-to-weight ratio; affords better sag characteristics. Aluminum alloy gives AAAC higher resistance to corrosion than ACSR.
